Prof. Dr. R.K. Chandra
Chairman and Managing Director

Prof. Ranjit Kumar Chandra is the President of Nutritional Immunology & Allergy Centre, Gurgaon, India. Until recently, he was the Président and Vice-Chancellor of Université Internationale des Sciences de la Santé. Before that he had worked at AIIMS New Delhi, PGI Chandigarh, Memorial University in Canada, Johns Hopkins University, World Health Organization Centre for Nutritional Immunology, MIT and Harvard Medical School.

Prof. Chandra has served as a consultant to the World Health Organization, Health Canada, National Institutes of Health, National Academy of Sciences USA, and Indian Council of Medical Research. He was President of the International Congress of Nutrition in 1997

From 1981 to 2003, Prof. Chandra was the founding Editor-in-Chief of Nutrition Research. He has authored over 200 original articles in peer-reviewed publications [such as Science, Lancet, JAMA, PNAS] and 22 books.

Dr. Chandra has received 16 honorary degrees including DSc honoris causa given at a special convocation held by Panjab University in Chandigarh. He has received over 100 awards worldwide. A 4-storey building has been named Aruna Ranjit Chandra Hall in Sector 14, Chandigarh. Another building named as the Chandra Centre for Nutritional Immunology is planned for S.V. University, Tirupati. He has received several honours from Queen Elizabeth of UK, including the 125-year memorial medal, Jubilee Medal, and the title of Honorable Baron of Blackburn.

Prof. Chandra is an Officer of the Order of Canada, the highest award given to Canadian citizens.

Shakuntla Rai
Chief Operating Officer(COO)

Shakuntla is an industry veteran with 19 years of management and Sales experience in the areas of FMCG and Pharmaceuticals. Since joining TSAR Health, she has led the development and launch efforts behind TSAR Health’s new products like IMPACT and FEBOOST also reformed the TSAR Health’s Policy. Prior to TSAR Health, she worked for a Fortune 500 Company, BAYER (India) Ltd. in their FMCG, Insecticide division (Brand Baygon) she was responsible for the sales administration of Northern Region and successfully implemented ‘Cash and Carry’ system there resulting in 100% cash flow for the region. She has worked for BAYER almost for a decade before joining TSAR Health in 2003. She is an Economics graduate from I.P. College, Delhi University and has done sales and distribution from NIS Delhi. She is responsible for TSAR Health’s Business in India.

Arvind Sharma
Zonal Sales Manager

Arvind Sharma is a seasoned Zonal Sales Manager with almost 18 years experience in Pharmaceutical Industry. Prior to joining TSAR Health, Arvind was Regional Sales Manager in Stedman Pharmaceuticals Pvt. Ltd. Before that he held a number of Sales positions in Dabur Pharmaceuticals Ltd. He started his career in 1991 from Juggat Pharma in Delhi. He is P.G in Management of Public Enterprises and a holds a BSc degree. In TSAR he is responsible for Sales and Marketing activities in North India.
